IVAN INVERARDI
Ivan Inverardi, Renato "Ballo in Maschera", Teatro Regio Turin

Italian baritone Ivan Inverardi was born in Brescia (Italy). He studied voice at the conservatory «Luca Marenzio» in Brescia under the guidance of professor Ghitti.

 

In 1999 he won the first prize at the international competition «Roero in Musica» in Vezza d'Alba (Italy), president of the jury Magda Olivero, and in 2001 he got the first prize and the prize of the audience at the international contest «Federazione Musicale Italiana».


His past engagements include: Don Carlo in La Forza del Destino at Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Francesco in I Masnadieri and the title role in Rigoletto at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Rigoletto for the hundredth anniversary celebration of the death of Giuseppe Verdi in Busseto, at Teatro Regio in Turin, Internationale Maifestspiele Wiesbaden and at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Iago in Otello at the Theatre in Sassari, Amonasro in Aida at the Washington Opera, the title role in Nabucco in Pisa, Trento, Bolzano, Como, Bergamo, Cremona, Pavia and Brescia, Renato in Un Ballo in Maschera at Teatro Regio in Turin, Opéra de Montpellier, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Teatro Verdi in Trieste and Oper Graz, Scarpia in Tosca at Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa under the baton of Daniel Oren, Ezio in Attila at the Rome Opera, Don Carlo in La Forza del Destino at Teatro Comunale in Piacenza, Don Carlo in Ernani in Sankt Gallen, Seid in Il Corsaro in Vienna, the title role in Rigoletto in Klagenfurt, Turin, Wiesbaden and at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Macbeth at La Scala in Milan, Michele in Il Tabarro in Palermo and Amonasro in Aida in Rome (Caracalla).


This season and beyond Mr Inverardi will sing Rigoletto at the Teatro Comunale in Florence and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Tonio in I Pagliacci in Cremona, Como, Ferrara and Pavia, and Iago in Otello at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
