Giulio Pelligra

Born in Catania in 1986, he studied piano and later voice with Elisabeth Smith Lombardini and in master classes with Romolo Guglielmo Gazzani, Renato Bruson and Ernesto Palacio. At present he is studying voice with Vittorio Terranova.

 

In 2007 he won the first prize at the "Salvatore Cicero" contest and the third prize at the "Voci Del Mediterraneo" contest in Siracusa. Moreover he won a special prize at the "Concorso Internazionale Giovanni Pacini" contest in Pescia and at the "Concorso Internazionale per Cantanti Lirici" contest in Pescara.

 

Among his past engagements: Conte d'Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Siviglia at Teatro Civico La Spezia and Malta's National Theater, Discepolo and Angelo in the oratory Emmaus by Angelo Pio Leonardi in the Cathedral of Caltanissetta, Nemorino in L'Elisir d'Amore by Gaetano Donizetti at Teatro Greco Taormina, Teatro Comunale Piacenza, Teatro Comunale Bolzano and with the Sicilian Symphonic Orchestra in Palermo, Petite Messe Solennelle by G. Rossini in Caltagirone, Lui in La Notte di un Nevrastenico by N.
