Tenor
Konrad Wlodarczyk is one of the most talented young generation Polish singers. Born in Cracow, after completing his education at a secondary music school in Cracow and the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, he continued his studies with many renowned singers, including Kaludi Kaludov, Fedora Barbieri and Fiorenza Cossotto.
After a series of concerts abroad, he obtained an engagement with the Wiener Kammeroper to sing Mozart parts. His proper Polish debut took place in 2004 at the Juliusz Slowacki Theatre, where he was invited by Ryszard Karczykowski to sing the part of Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata. He joined the Warsaw Chamber Opera permanently at the start of 2006, as a singer of tenor parts in the operas of Mozart and Donizetti. He also appeared at the Cracow Opera singing Ferrando in Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, Alfredo in Verdi's La Traviata, Ernesto in Donizetti's Don Pasquale, at the Baltic Opera in Gdansk with Sir Riccardo Percy in Donizetti's Anna Bolena, at Opera Nova in Bydgoszcz singing the role of Tamino in The Magic Flute. With those operas, he has also toured France, Luxembourg, Germany. He debuted at the Teatr Wielki, Polish National Opera, with Tamino in Mozart's The Magic Flute .
More recently, he performed Lord Artur Buklaw's role in Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor (2008).
In concert and opera Konrad Wlodarczyk has worked closely with numerous renown conductors: Christopher Hogwood, Kazimierz Kord, Jan Krenz, Janusz Przybylski, Pawel Przytocki, Ruben Silva, Andrzej Straszynski, Tomasz Tokarczyk and stage directors: Achim Freier, Werner Pichler, Michal Znaniecki.
