Yasmine Levi-Ellentuck


From Israel, Yasmine Levi-Ellentuck attended International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv after graduated from Jerusalem Music Academy. Later on, she studied at the Brooklyn Music Academy in New York with Patricia McCaffrey and graduated with a Master Degree.


Yasmine has won the 3rd Prize of Elizabeth Connell Prize 2016 and New South Wales Wagner Society award while on the other hand, received an award from the Metropolitan Opera National Council Competition, The Gerda-Lissner Foundation, The Giulio Gari Foundation and the Licia Albanese-Puccini Foundation.


As a soprano, her career was highlighted by the performances such as Leonora in Fidelio at Berlin Hauen und Stechen, Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly at the Jerusalem Opera and with Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte at the Williamsburg Opera, Contessa in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Jerusalem Opera and in New York, Amelia in Un Ballo in Maschera at the Jerusalem Symphony, Leonora in Il Trovatore at the Williamsburg Opera, Ariadne in Ariadne auf Naxos and Elettra in Idomeneo in Tel Aviv, Giorgetta in Il Tabarro in New York.


Among her love for opera repertoire, she is also an experienced concert performer, singing pieces such as Strauss’ Four Last Songs, Britten’s War Requiem, Berg’s Seven Early Songs, Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 and more. 


Future engagements include Rossini's Petite messe solennelle with the Stuttgarter Philarmoniker, Chrysothemis in Elektra at the Israeli Opera Tel Aviv.
