Eva Oltivanyi
Language coach
A native of Zurich, she studied singing at the Zurich Conservatory and at the same time studied and a few semesters of French and English at the University of Zurich.
After completing her music studies in Zurich, she went on to the Biel Opera Studio with her first opera roles at the Theater Biel such as Olympia, Mrs. Gobineau, Contessa, Konstanze and Lucy.
In roles such as Konstanze, Woglinde and 5.Magd she appeared in theatres such as La Monnaie, San Carlo di Napoli, Petruzzelli di Bari, Teatro Comunale di Bologna, La Fenice di Venezia Fenice di Venezia, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Theater Freiburg, Stadttheater Luzern, Royal Opera House Copenhagen, Opéra Nationale de Paris as well as at the Teatro Liceu in Barcelona.
With her concert repertoire ranging from ancient to contemporary music, she has often been at festivals such as the Zürcher Festwochen and the Lucern Festival.
Her passion and talent for languages as well as her many years of experience as a singer and voice teacher make her an ideal language coach for opera and concert artists.
As a language coach, she oversaw productions of 'Die Tote Stadt' (Korngold) and 'Romeo et Juliette' (Gounod) at La Scala in Milan, 'Roméo et Juliette', 'Orphée' (Gluck), 'Perséphone' (Stravinsky), 'Cantique de Jean Racine' (Fauré) and 'La Damnation de Faust' (Berlioz) at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
She had lived in Brussels for 12 years. Since 2009 she has been living in Milan (Italy).
